the author really has the storytelling gift and he keeps you alert for what’s next, also the novel itself is deep and inspiring, for me it’s simply about ordinary people who are – for us – just a bunch of rigid figures of war victims (how many dead, wounded, lost, paralysed or evacuated) while they are human beings with real life stories, and how these mad wars may flip someone’s life upside down in a glimpse! how the brutal politics can change the direction of real people’s lives several times and several ways, and how it turns that innocent people at last pay the invoice of politicians’ brutality.
