didn’t like it that much but the idea itself is unique and new, some characters are good but most are foggy, I think this novel wasn’t given the adequate time to write.

سرد رائع يأخذك من أعماق قرى السودان إلى قلب لندن ولكن الرواية مشوشة وغامضة إلى حد السأم .. أعجبني فيها الغوص في أعماق السودان ولم تعجبني أي من الأجزاء التي تدور في انجلترا.

the parts about Upper Egypt are really unique and amazing, other parts are not worth the time to read, nothing new.

very deep, Belal Fadl is one of the very few writers who express the real visions of the majority of nowadays’ Egyptians that the prosperous minority doesn’t know (or doesn’t like to know), Although I’ve read most or all these weekly articles in Al-Dostour newspaper but I really loved to read them again with a fresher flavor.

رواية مشوقة في عوالم غامضة

a Nobel Prize winner’s vision and short biography, really worth reading carefully.

I like true stories for they are REAL, what’s good in this story is that it’s real.

this book re-triggered my appetite to reading after years of boycott, Khaled El Khamissi has a really wonderful ability of noticing tiny details and creating interesting tales out of them, the idea itself is also brilliant and unique.
